She is author of "The Rosetta Stone" and "Catalogue of Egyptian Jewelry" in the British Museum.
PROFESSIONAL REVIEWS
:
REVIEW
: This gorgeous book is immensely satisfying in every respect. The nearly 200 photographs, almost all in color, are beautiful, inspiring, and rich with detail. The text is fascinating, leading you through the history of Egyptian jewelry making, wearing, and symbolism from 4000 BC to 200 AD. Much of what you'll see and read will startle you with its amazing modernity.
REVIEW
: Thanks to Carole Andrews, a curator of Egyptian antiquities at the British Museum, ancient pharaonic jewelry is no longer under wraps. This book covers everything from jeweler's tools to funerary baubles. [Elle Magazine]
REVIEW
: Readable and comprehensive, enhanced by excellent illustrations.
